Sales Manager – Golf Digest


We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive advertising revenue, build strategic partnerships, and position Golf Digest as the premium media platform for golf, luxury, and lifestyle brands.

This role is ideal for a passionate sales professional with strong industry networks and an eye for premium brand storytelling across print, digital, and event platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive advertising revenue through the sale of print, digital, and event sponsorships.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies targeting golf, luxury goods, automotive, hospitality, travel, and lifestyle brands.
  • Create customized media packages aligned with client marketing objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, agencies, and direct clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for advertisers, ensuring exceptional service and repeat business.
  • Network across the golf, sports, and lifestyle sectors to identify new business opportunities.
  • Explore branded content, native advertising, and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with golf tournaments, resorts, and clubs for sponsorship and activation initiatives.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to strengthen Golf Digest’s market position.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Work cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, and design teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Track, report, and forecast sales performance and revenue opportunities.

Prerequisites:

  • 5+ years of proven success in media sales, advertising, or business development across print, digital, and events.
  • A strong record of exceeding sales targets within the lifestyle, sports, luxury, or hospitality sectors.
  • Valuable exposure to the golf or luxury lifestyle industry (a big plus!).
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills that help you close deals and foster lasting partnerships.
