Marketing Director
Motivate Media Group, the region’s leading multi-platform content producer, is seeking a visionary and strategic Marketing Director to lead and elevate the company’s marketing and brand efforts. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with strong experience in multi-channel marketing, brand strategy, partnerships, and digital innovation.
As Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives, enhance brand equity, and drive growth across a wide portfolio of media brands and business units.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and implement creative, tactical, and comprehensive annual marketing plans that align with corporate and brand goals.
- Present strategic marketing roadmaps to senior leadership to secure buy-in and alignment.
- Identify and champion innovative marketing channels, technologies, and consumer engagement strategies.
- Leverage consumer and market insights to initiate targeted campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Lead the annual marketing budget planning process and ensure timely execution of all initiatives.
Brand Strategy & Management
- Ensure consistent brand application across all marketing touchpoints, sponsorships, and events.
- Collaborate with editorial and commercial teams to create brand templates and revamp media packs and brand collateral.
- Champion brand storytelling, brand voice, and the visual identity across all platforms and communications.
Digital Marketing & Audience Growth
- Design and manage integrated digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness, traffic, and conversions.
- Grow digital audiences through strategic targeting and first-party data.
- Use data-driven insights to refine audience segmentation and marketing personalization.
Public Relations & Communication
- Build and manage communication strategies that raise awareness of Motivate’s divisions, initiatives, and events.
- Draft and distribute press releases and liaise with internal and external media for coverage opportunities.
- Oversee internal communications through approved channels to foster alignment and engagement.
Partnerships, Sponsorships & Events
- Create strategic alliances, sponsorship proposals, and barter agreements that support revenue growth and brand exposure.
- Identify relevant partnership opportunities and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Collaborate with publishing and events teams to lead activations and event-based marketing strategies.
Market Insight & Planning
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to understand trends, competition, and customer behavior.
- Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and business leads to formulate annual brand marketing plans.
- Ensure successful plan execution within approved budgets and timelines.
Circulation, POS & Brand Extensions
- Develop channel strategies aligned with brand positioning and consumer behavior.
- Lead discussions on exhibitions, activations, and partner events that boost brand visibility and engagement.
- Support brand extension opportunities by evaluating new revenue-generating initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and manage the marketing team to ensure high performance, motivation, and career development.
- Foster a collaborative culture and actively share insights and strategies across the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing leadership roles, preferably within media, publishing, or entertainment sectors.
- Expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, audience development, and campaign analytics.
- Strong understanding of the GCC market landscape, especially UAE and KSA.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with marketing technology, CRM tools, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
