Digital Editor

Motivate Media Group is looking for talented Digital Editors to join our innovative team. Help us shape the future of digital content by creating engaging stories for our diverse online platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and edit high-quality digital content for websites, social media, and other online platforms.
• Ensure content is SEO-friendly, optimized for user engagement, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Work closely with the Group Editor and Editor to go through digital analytics and to refine content strategy and increase user engagement.
• Represent the brand at relevant events.
• Identify and create fresh, engaging and original video content and audio content.
• Support commercial projects.
• Undertake necessary image production activities.
• Update and maintain time-sensitive material.
• Expected to contribute towards the main magazine and supplements as well
• Collaborate with writers, designers, and digital marketing teams to produce interactive and visually appealing content.
• Monitor web traffic and analyse data to guide content strategy and improve audience reach.
• Stay up-to-date with digital publishing trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Maintain editorial calendars and meet tight publishing deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Digital Editor or in a similar role in the digital media space.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a deep understanding of digital formats.
• Knowledge of SEO, content management systems (CMS), and social media trends.
• Ability to analyse metrics and adapt content strategy for audience engagement.
• A creative thinker with the ability to manage multiple digital projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with multimedia formats such as video, audio, and infographics is a plus.
