Book Writers / Editors

Motivate Media Group is looking for skilled Book Writer/Editors to contribute to our growing collection of high-quality publications.

Your responsibilities:

• Work closely with authors to refine and shape manuscripts for publication.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and structure while maintaining the author’s voice.
• Perform developmental edits, copy edits, and proofreading across a range of genres.
• Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to produce high-quality publications.
• Manage deadlines efficiently and ensure timely project delivery.
• Stay updated on publishing industry trends and reader preferences.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Book Editor or in a similar editorial role.
• Exceptional grammar, writing, and editing skills.
• Ability to communicate feedback constructively to authors.
• Strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of the publishing process.
• Passion for books and a broad knowledge of different genres.
• Familiarity with the latest digital editing tools and publishing software is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Journalism or related course.
• Minimum of 5 -6 years’ relevant professional work experience.
