Just before the first issue of Golf Digest Middle East was launched in November 2008, we did what any self-respecting new golf publication on deadline would. That’s right, we downed editorial tools, hitched the sticks over our collective shoulders and headed to Emirates Golf Club for a jolly good tournament.

Many tournaments later, it's grown into the Golf Digest Middle East Series which this year takes us to the home of the European Tour’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and Omega Dubai Desert Classic, as well as the host venue of the European Challenge Tour’s penultimate Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge.
