What’s On Dubai and What’s On Abu Dhabi – Editorial Intern

We bring our expertise, enthusiasm, and opinions to bear on the things to do in the UAE that are truly worth your time.
We’re on the hunt for two superstar interns, one for What’s On Dubai and one for What’s On Abu Dhabi, who will be a critical part of our editorial team. Our ideal candidate is a creative writer, lover of all things Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and above all enthusiastic about their future as a reporter at What’s On. You might be a major sports fan, you could be crazy about music, or perhaps you’re an adrenaline-junkie that’s on a mission to try out every hair-raising attraction in the UAE.
Someone who is extremely organised and keen to be part of a fast-paced, hard-working team would suit this role. An interest and existing knowledge of social media is essential. Previous experience with Word Press is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Pitching feature ideas for whatson.ae
- Assisting the editorial team with day-to-day running of the website
- Creating engaging social media content that complements the digital content strategy
Skills:
- An ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail
- An existing knowledge of What’s On and the brand tone
