AdTech Reporter, Campaign Middle East

Do you know a DSP from an MBU? Can you explain how GDPR will affect the use of DMPs? Can you argue for or against the move from FLoC to Topics?

Motivate Media Group, one of the most established and respected publishers in the Middle East, is on the lookout for an advertising- and ad tech-savvy Reporter to work for one of its most successful titles, Campaign Middle East.

If you are a reporter who has covered business for one year or more, and who understands and can speak the language of ad tech, then this is your opportunity to make a difference on an established and respected title covering the fast-moving world of media, marketing and advertising.

You’ll already be adept at writing crisp, accurate business copy, and you will be au fait with the latest developments in advertising and marketing technology. You will have an opinion on Google’s privacy sandbox, Web3 opportunities for brands and the imminent demise of third-party cookies. Your responsibilities will include writing daily news stories, attending conferences, securing exclusive interviews and forming balanced and well-researched features using multiple industry sources. You’ll also be involved in conceiving, planning, facilitating and running events and podcasts.

In this role, you will be comfortable covering the regional communications industry – from media buying to influencer marketing – with a focus on the rapidly evolving technology that crunches big data behind the scenes.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess an excellent command of the English language, have a strong nose for news, an understanding of the technology side of advertising, a strong book of industry contacts and, importantly, bags of inquisitive enthusiasm.

Motivate Media Group is the region’s leading multi-platform content producer with a diverse portfolio of media interests comprising magazines, digital, social, video, exhibitions and events, cinema and books.

Interested candidates may apply attaching a copy of their CV and a covering letter.
