Motivate Media Group is inviting applicants for the positions listed below to be engaged on a 11 month contract from December 2019 – November 2020. Successful candidates will have the unique opportunity to be a part of one of Dubai’s most exciting experiences in 2020.

  Art Director

  Traffic Manager

Art Director

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, inspire and guide the activities of the creative team that includes Motion Graphics Designers, UI Designers’ and 2d / 3d Animators.
  • Ensure that the highest standards of execution for all create output.
  • Co-ordinate internally all aspects related to the timeline as per Project Manager/Director.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager and Traffic Mangers regularly to manage the activities of your team.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager regularly to monitor standards, quality, and output of the work generation at all stages.
  • Ensure that our resources are utilized efficiently to optimize productions and prevent any duplication of work.
  • Organize periodical meetings at least once in a week with the creative team for post mortem and review work generated and gone live.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate in Art / Graphic Design.
  • A total of 7-8 years of experience in design.
  • 3-4 years in a leadership role.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Extensive technical knowledge of editing and motion graphics.
  • Knowledge and experience in animation 2D and 3D animation, which includes Character animation.
  • Experience in the creation of brand guideline for animation.
  • Technical Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a particular AE.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Proficient in computer design and applications, such as Adobe PS, AI, AE, PR, Maya & Cinema 4D.
  • Ability to head a team and make sure they execute on deadline.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Flexible with putting on different hats when needed.
  • Highly creative.

Traffic Manager

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create a schedule for new jobs and assign those tasks using the trafficking system implemented by yourself and the Project Manager.
  • Meet with the Art Directors and PM’s to learn about the status of existing projects, and details about projects scheduled from external stakeholders.
  • Manage the flow of work to ensure that digital assets are received from external stakeholder’s and internal teams on time.
  • Review current and future timelines and job statuses with the content team and if necessary, the individuals working on the jobs.
  • Chase content from external and internal teams so that deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with the PM to ensure work is distributed equally and fairly between the content team.
  • Review digital content and ensure its to brief (including technical specifications), in the case that it doesn’t you must flag it up to the to the Project Manager.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Ensure that naming conventions are correct and the meta data is correct for all assets.
  • Reschedule projects based on new or changing priorities.
  • Report to management about the current workflow, and communicate any possible issues with too much, or too little, work assigned to the content team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Educated to a college degree with a minimum two years in media trafficking, marketing analytics/ database management or another business-related field.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Working knowledge of video production cycle and delivery.
  • Knowledge of video formatting, screen dimensions and resolution.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • High attention to detail and ability to organize multiple workflows.
  • Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders as part of a client servicing team.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to use initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Can work well under pressure and on deadline.

English Copywriter

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Discussing the client’s core message and target audience.
  • Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team.
  • Writing and presenting a few options to clients.
  • Modifying copy until the client is satisfied.
  • Overseeing the production phase.
  • Accountable for checking all content being advertised is truthful and complies with codes of advertising practices under brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
  • Translate high-level concepts and creative briefs into finished copy

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate degree in a related field
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience within advertising, marketing and communications

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Work knowledge within above the line advertising projects i.e. mediums such as TV, cinema, interactive media.
  • Good knowledge of the media industry in the UAE.
  • Knowledge in infographics, motion graphics; 2D and 3D is a plus although not a must

Arabic Copywriter

UI/Graphic Designer

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce mood boards, storyboards, design briefs, sketches, visual language guidelines, visual comps, prototypes, scenarios, process flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, and other artefacts required to develop and evolve user experience designs
  • Creating PSD files to hand over to developer
  • Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure your contribution enhances the overall user experience
  • Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centred solutions.
  • Create visual aspects for presentation and motion graphics
  • Create icons and infographics
  • Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements.
  • Test new ideas before implementing them.
  • Conduct ongoing user research.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree holder in Design, computer science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a UI-UX Designer or similar role.
  • UI design portfolio.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc and InVision).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to discuss and explain design options.

2D/3D Animator

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a source of animated content working independently and as part of a team taking responsibility for 2D and 3D animations as dictated by the Art director.
  • Create and deliver high quality and engaging motion graphics, including 2D animations specific to the template and brand guidelines created.
  • Ensure that creative output is relevant to the specified audience and according to brief and direction.
  • Show flexibility and a strong ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and to firm deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and internal processes.
  • Show a strong knowledge of design and animation trends (current and future) and provide guidance where necessary on best practice and emerging trends.
  • Ensure knowledge management capturing all relevant information in an accessible format.
  • Any other tasks prioritized by the line manager and assigned, as required by needs and working practices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree holder in Animation or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Extensive Knowledge of animation trends and 2D and 3D Softwares

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Technical Art Director

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and guide the creative output and template creation for all of Motion Graphics Designers
  • Ensure that the highest standards of execution for all creative output.
  • Help build, define and innovate an in-house post-production process for graphics and animation
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of all template driven designs
  • Apply analytics to monitor the operations of the studio and streamline operations.
  • Find ways to optimize, structure and refine the department’s technical output to create excellent work constantly in collaboration with the creative directors.
  • Co-ordinate internally all aspects related to the timeline as per Project Manager/Director.
