Advertising & Marketing Journalist / Content Editor


The successful candidate will produce news, analysis and features for both online and print, as well as create content across all of Campaign’s platforms (including digital, print and events). They will be a strong editorial face and voice through Campaign’s events, podcasts and awards. They will initiate and develop concepts for new print editions, live events and products, and support the commercial strategy of Campaign, including hosting sponsored events.

  • Programming events
  • Chasing and breaking news about the industry
  • Interviewing senior leaders in the ad industry
  • Maintaining contacts within the industry
  • Editing and proof reading content
  • Commissioning articles
  • Updating the website

Experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience working with business media in print or online 

Knowledge

  • Media, marketing and advertising industry knowledge
  • Adtech and martech
  • Media law 

Skills and expertise

  • Must be a native English speaker
  • Proof-reading and editing skills
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Will possess excellent communication skills
  • Will have contacts in the media, marketing and advertising industry
  • Event programming
  • Self-motivated to chase stories and pursue projects
